Jason B. Schmidt Celebrates an Unforgettable Summer of Performance and Looks Ahead with The Golden Gays Drag Troupe

Provincetown, MA — Jason B. Schmidt has had one hell of a summer, thrilling audiences with a wide array of performances across the scenic shores and vibrant venues of Provincetown. His remarkable season included 20 solo shows of “Bea Arthur’s Brat Summer” at The Art House, over 40 ensemble performances in “Golden Mean Girls” at the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret, and eight unforgettable duet “Old Drag New Trick” drag brunches with Scarlett Strauss at the 1620 Brewhouse.

In addition, Jason brought his dynamic presence to numerous guest spots, including 14 appearances at the legendary ShowGirls at the Provincetown Inn with Ryan Landry, Varla Jean Merman, Dina Martina, Parker Posey, Nina West, Alison Ingrham, et all – as well as apperances in “Are You Smarter Than a Drag Queen” with Edie, “Broadway On the Beach” with Qya Cristal, “Summer Camp” with Vivienne Fontaine, and “Helltown Burlesque” with Spookey.

As the season winds down, Jason B. Schmidt is thrilled to announce his return to touring with his own company, The Golden Gays Drag Troupe, promising more exciting performances and unforgettable moments for audiences everywhere.
